When God Gives...

I liked this story very much... So here it goes

Once a boy went to a shop with his mother..

The shop keeper looked at the small cute child and showed him a bottle with sweets and said 'Dear Child.. u can take the sweets... but the child did not take.

The shop keeper was surprised.. such a small child he is and why is he not taking the sweets from the bottle. Again he said take the sweets.. now his mother also heard that and said.. ''beta take the sweets..'' yet he did not take...

The shopkeeper saw that the child was not taking the sweets.. So he himself took the sweets and gave to the child.. The child was happy to get two hands full of sweets..

When they returned home, his Mother asked him.. Why did not you take the sweets when shop keeper told you to take..

The child said.. ''Mom, my hands are very small and if i take the sweets from my hands then i can only take few.. but now you see when uncle gave with his big hands, how many more sweets i got!!''

Moral:

When we take, we may get little but when God gives, he gives us more then our expectations. ... more than what we can hold....

Crossing the Physical Barrier

A big HI to all,

The blog had gone into "coma" due to various ailments, but finally its out; before going for fullstop. As I was sharing my experiences and many views on different things, got a very nice scolding that why I do not share with everyone so here I am and I promise that will take care of it now and will not let it slip again in "coma" (need a reminder)
Various things are there to share and one by one it will be on this space. Here goes the first one-
When I had to go to Coimbatore to teach YES!+ I got this fear that I do not know Tamil, the local language people speak there so I was like avoiding and planning how to escape that. And as usual, what you fear you have to go through that, so I went. Everything I did nicely, but the course day i got severe throat infection followed by high fever, coughing like crazily sick old fellow. After years went to see doctor and he advised not to speak even a word and take complete rest for coming four days; and I said I cant...
Whole day did not speak, just coughed...
Evening I went to the course with 103 fever and bad throat, prayed to HIM and started the course..... Amazed by HIS grace as I did not cough even once while speaking and not only this I taught "surya namaskar", a set of yogasanas, also..
Felt sudden gush of such a high energy that I even did all the rounds of surya namaskar with them; 18 pretty rounds. And it was an experience not only for me but for all the participants also.
This made me experience that pain or discomfort are all mere words, its game of mind. When you have strong will it can be overcome with HIS grace just like that.
"Give a chance to the Divine to work on you"

Every Feeling Shared the Boat, Only one Feeling Was Left.
Love Went to See Who It Was:
It Was EGO

Love Tried But EGO Didn't Move.
EveryOne Asked Love To Leave Him and Come Into the Boat But Love Was Meant To Love.

It Remained With EGO

All The Others Went But love Died Because Of EGO.

Meaning of SWASTIK..

In Sanskrit svastika means "all is well". It is a cross with four arms of equal length, with the ends of each arm bent at a right angle. Sometimes dots are added between each arm.

The swastika is an ancient symbol and very very common in India. It came from the Sanskrit word svasti (sv = well; asti = is), meaning well-being, good fortune, luck etc.

The swastika is most commonly used as a charm to bring good fortune. The right-hand swastika is one of the 108 symbols of the god Vishnu as well as a symbol of Surya or Sun. The symbol imitates in the rotation of its arms the course taken daily by the sun, which appears in the Northern Hemisphere to pass from east, then south, to west. (It is also a symbol of the sun among Native Americans.)

In India auspicious symbol of the swastika is very commonly used in Hindu art, architecture and decoration. It can be seen on temples, houses, doorways, clothing, cars, and even cakes. It is usually a major part of the decoration for festivals and special ceremonies like weddings.

The left-hand swastika (called a sauvastika) usually represents the terrifying Black magic. However, this form of the swastika is not "evil" and it is the form most commonly used in Buddhism. In Buddhism, the swastika signifies auspiciousness and good fortune as well as the Buddha’s footprint and the Buddha's heart. The swastika is said to contain the whole mind of the Buddha and can often be found imprinted on the chest, feet or palms of Buddha images. It is also the first of the 65 auspicious symbols on the footprint of the Buddha.

The swastika has also often been used to mark the beginning of Buddhist texts. In China and Japan, the Buddhist swastika was seen as a symbol of plurality, eternity, abundance, prosperity and long life.

The swastika is used as an auspicious mark on Buddhist temples and is especially common in Korea. It can often be seen on the decorative borders around paintings, altar cloths and banners. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is also used as a clothing decoration.

The Nazis adopted the swastika because it was understood as an Aryan symbol indicating racial purity and superiority. (The Nazis propagated a historical theory in which the early Aryans of India were white invaders.) There may also be a connection with the swastika's magical connections, for Hitler and other Nazi leaders were keenly interested in the occult.

After a long time..

Managing all the aspects of life is "Art of Living"...

Well, I was busy finishing my Doctorate while continuing my job & seva so the creativity has to take a back seat for some time for the sake of "time Management". Few important things became urgent and that too with no exit option. But thats the beauty of life, so here I am now with lots of things to share. The most important thing I learnt that its very important to take care of ones health, as sometimes the mind wants to go little further but the body will deny. Skipping meals, managing sleep, postponing visits for health check up and so on.... These things are also necessary.

I was taking rest from everything few days back and one of my friend asked "what seva you are doing now" and I replied "Am doing my own seva now"... And realised that how important it is to take care of our health also.

A dream come true..

Since childhood i always wished to become a "SCIENTIST". I remember the days when my father used to force me to watch "Turning Point"- a T.V. program on scientific thoughts and discoveries. And slowly it became my passion. Like all middle class family i had been given as usual two options- Medical or Engineering.. But i fought for my dream and even though my father stopped talkig to me, I continued my journey towards my cherished dream..
Yes, the journey was tough and so it became challenging also. I remember one quote "when world says you can not, that shows you what to do".
And today being the youngest scientist and awareded for my excellent research work, I just wonder that "How it happened".. And behind this wonder of mine I just see Guruji's smile..
The moment when Gurudev called near HIM I just lost the track of myself and 'Thats the moment when I lived my life totally'
That look of His made my life.
Still with the feeling of being at the 'TOP OF THE WORLD'
